This is a traditional Lakshmi Pendant with `nakkasi' or `nakshi' work (a form of gilt and repousse technique unique to south Indian temple jewellery).In this ornate pendantthe image of the Goddess, sitting on a lotus and flanked by two elephants on her side ,is reproduced in rare detail in three dimensional repousse.

Handcrafted in Sterling (92.5%) Silver the pendant is oxidised. The necklace string made of oxidised, ribbed-design silver beads handwovenin silver wire and its length is 22 inches.
